Lysta is a YMCA trained fitness instructor and has been teaching in the fitness industry since 1989. After attending regular Pilates classes as a client starting in 2004 lysta realised that this whole body exercise method would be a valuable addition to her repertoire and qualified as a clinical Pilates instructor 18 months later. Lystas area of further specialisation is in ante and post natal Pilates (and exercise in general) and has served the Chiswick community in this regard for many years. Preparation of the body for childbirth and returning it to pre pregnancy condition takes skill and planning. Pilates plays a big part in that process.

Sabina is STOTT Pilates Certified instructor in both Mat and Reformer. Back in 2010 she quit her job in oil and gas company to follow her husband in his international assignment and that was the time she was introduced to Pilates by taking regular classes in one of the Pilates studios in Cairo, Egypt. Sabina decided to go further into this unique, smart and beneficial workout by taking courses and workshops. Sabina has been teaching Pilates in Cairo and Aberdeen (both group and individual classes) before moving to London in summer of 2017. Besides Pilates she enjoys playing tennis, cycling and practicing Yoga.
Ciba is a registered Osteopath and a Body Control Pilates teacher for matwork and full equipment with a contemporary dance background. She specialises in lower back pain, post injury rehabilitation, scoliosis and pre & post-natal Pilates. She uses Pilates to facilitate better movement quality and enhanced physical wellbeing of her clients.
Mindfulness and solution based therapist. I am a solution based counsellor, breakthrough coach and mindfulness teacher.. I see people on a one to one basis and I also hold workshops and courses. I have spent many years studying the mind and am fascinated by how the mind works. I studied Psychodynamic Psychotherapy but discovered that I prefer to work as a solution based counsellor and personal coach. The neuroscientists have discovered empirical evidence of the neuroplasticity that is facilitated by mindfulness and meditation and it has a profound effect in the way I work. The psychology and practice of mindfulness has had deeply transformative results in my life and I love nothing better than sharing my knowledge with people who want to help themselves.
Pilates Instructor Marina is a fully certified Pilates Matwork and Studio Apparatus Instructor able to teach people of all fitness levels, including special populations such as pre and post-natal clients, teens, injury and reduced mobility patients or those looking for performance training.
Marina’s love for Pilates began in 2006 when she was introduced to it almost by chance as a studio opened next to her office. Inspired by the positive changes she saw in her body, she left her busy job in the art trading sector to become a Pilates instructor so she could share the benefits of the method with others. Marina has since then, trained in studios throughout London with teachers from the most renowned international schools such as Body Control, APPI, BASI, Balanced Body, and Stott academies.
Marina focuses on correct postural alignment and healthy biomechanics, and draws from her knowledge of anatomy, movement, and fitness skills to guide, inspire and challenge her clients through movement and the mind-body connection. She strives to provide outstanding service, focusing on the individual health and fitness goals of her clients, tailoring her workouts to accommodate their particular needs, whether recovering from injury or training for a marathon.
Graeme started practising Pilates in 2004 whilst looking for a long term fix for 3 prolapsed lumber disks. Mat work Pilates turned out to be the only thing that showed real promise and after real progress Graeme moved onto the reformer for better strength and flexibility. Armed with a new back and core muscles Graeme decided to retrain and joined lysta at their Turnham green practice leaving behind 25 years of management consultancy. Graeme specialises in functional ageing exercises on the Reformer which includes balance , muscle power , agility, core stability, multi directional whole body strength and endurance. Graeme also runs a successful life coaching business which he started in 1992 whilst in the finance industry.
After pursuing a career in PR and marketing across film, sport and luxury brands, Lauren re-trained as a comprehensive pilates instructor in 2017 through world-renowned Body Arts & Science International (BASI), a method developed by BASI founder and pilates master trainer, Rael Isacowitz.
Through ten years of own practice, layered with extensive training of the pilates method, Lauren has developed a deep understanding of the body and its mechanics. Lauren is experienced in teaching clients of all ages and abilities across the full pilates repertoire and equipment, including reformer, chair, cadillac, step/ladder barrel and avalon (BASI).
Having managed a number of injuries and chronic back pain through pilates, Lauren is passionate about helping clients to achieve results, whether rehabilitation, gaining strength and mobility or finding balance between body and mind. A keen cyclist, Lauren has completed the Ride London 100 twice as well as London to Paris, and enjoys boxing and HIIT classes alongside pilates.
